The Searcy Area
Recently named a 2013 Certificate of Excellence award winner by TripAdvisor, we are pleased to share our brand of hospitality with our guests. Located about 50 miles northeast of Little Rock, we’re a historic town in the Ozark Mountain region of north Arkansas. Vibrant and thriving, we’re home to Harding University, First Security Bank, Walmart distribution center, Aramark, and Yarnell Ice Cream, among others. Whether you’re staying in the area for business or social reasons, educational pursuits, or sports-related ones, we are glad you’ve chosen us as the best hotel in Searcy. We are 100% non-smoking and pet-friendly.
Going a bit further into the surrounding countryside is rewarding for those who can make the time to explore. This part of the state frequently catches the eye of Hollywood producers for its lush forests, scenic mountain overlooks, underground caverns rich with crystal deposits and hidden streams. It’s sprinkled with lakes, such as Greere’s Ferry Lake 22 miles from us. Locals are pleased to share the superb fishing, boating, birding, hiking, and biking opportunities that the landscape offers. We’ll be happy to assist you with information regarding equipment rentals so you can experience the best of outdoor Arkansas while you’re here.

It’s easy to stay connected at our hotel, as we provide free high-speed Internet access via Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. After a good night’s sleep, you can tune in to the morning news on a 32” flat screen TV, or brew your first cup of coffee in the guest room. Join us for a free Bright Side Breakfast® where we serve up waffles, hard-boiled eggs, sausage and biscuits, cereal, pastries, muffins, fresh fruit and unlimited juice and coffee. For those who like to travel light, rooms are equipped with a hair dryer, alarm clock, and an iron with ironing board. Some rooms have a microwave and refrigerator, so just ask ahead. Our heated indoor pool and Jacuzzi-style hot tub are both guest favorites, and our fitness room is at your disposal.
Our town is big on gatherings, from farmers markets to outdoor holiday celebrations. Main Street is host to the ‘Get Down Downtown’ festival each September which attracts 20,000 or so. Trick or treat takes place on the Square, and then it’s time for the Holiday of Lights illumination kicking off at Thanksgiving. The stately brick and stucco building you see when walking through downtown is the White County Courthouse, the oldest in the state. Originally built in 1870, it’s a Searcy landmark. However, if you’d rather just go fishing than exploring downtown, visitors can catch some trout at Little Red River, a popular destination only a mile away.
